The tiny house with a living area of 26 m2 is located on the edge of the property near our family home. The house was completed in 2019 in a minimalist Scandinavian "hygge" style where only natural materials are used. The goal is joyful and carefree living in harmony with nature. To encourage space for you to relax in nature and for your thoughts, the house does not provide TV. The tiny house was chosen among the most successful projects “Interior of the Year of 2019” organized by the Institute of Home Design (Institut bytového designu) in the Czech Republic.
The accommodation offers everything you need to live and relax. The house has a fully equipped kitchen (electric oven and hob, dishwasher and fridge with freezer), bathroom, open-plan relaxation area with sofa and a bedroom for two in the attic. Next to the house is a sunny terrace for relaxing while gazing at the pond. We are always available and we will be happy to answer questions and help you to organise a nice trip.
If you wish for privacy you will not be disturbed by us as the tiny house is set away from our home. If you bring your bicycles with you, you can store them in the shed next to the tiny house. We kindly ask you to leave your dog friends at home. Accommodation capacity is maximum of two persons.
Several cycling and hiking trails crisscross the property. The location offers a wide range of sport or tourist activities nearby, such as Zvíkov Castle which is about 25 km away. The beautiful royal town of Písek located only 8 km from us, has numerous dining options and places to explore.

Summer offers many possibilities to enjoy during your time here. The local bike paths offer plenty of opportunities for touring. Those who like running will enjoy the surrounding hilly landscapes. In addition blueberry picking or mushroom hunting, fishing and long walks will allow you to relax from everyday worries.
Surrounded by beautiful nature you can cross-country ski on the or go ice skating on the frozen pond.
Písek was founded in the year of 1243 and its historical center is an urban conservation area. There is a 13th century stone bridge in Písek which is the oldest Czech standing bridge. Other sights include the Royal Palace, the Dean’s Church of the Nativity of the Virging Mary with the clock tower, which is the dominant feature of the city, and several sections of preserved town walls. Písek offers a number of beautiful cafes and restaurants where you can eat deliciously. Stroll along the river or take a hike to the Písek Mountains. In hot summer weather it is ideal to visit the swimming pool at Sv. Václav.
Zvíkov Castle was built at the first half of the 13th century and is often called "the king of Czech castles". It is located at the junction of the Vltava and Otava rivers, some 15 kilometres north of Písek, next to the village of Zvíkovské Podhradí. It stands on a difficult-to-access and steep promontory above the confluence of the rivers. The castle is one of the most important early-Gothic castles in Czech lands.
